Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Search Marketing Success Ltd (company number 685490), registered office 77 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, Ireland, trading as DealDoor.

By creating an account or submitting a pitch, you agree to these terms.

1. What DealDoor does

DealDoor gives investors a link they can share instead of their inbox. Founders submit a structured form and a deck. The submission is assessed against the investor's written thesis, sorted into an inbox, and a draft reply is prepared. The investor reviews and decides whether to send it.

2. Accounts

You must be 16 or over and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@dealdoor.io if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.

3. Fees

DealDoor is free and unlimited for individual investors. If an account's usage indicates commercial-scale or organisational operation, we may ask you to move to an organisation plan. We will always discuss this with you first and you will never be charged without agreeing to a plan. Organisation pricing is shown at the point of enquiry.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into DealDoor: your thesis, your templates, your edits, your deck, your submission.

You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate the service for you. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

5. Investor responsibilities

If you use DealDoor as an investor:

• Every reply sent from your account is your communication. You review it, you can edit it, and you choose to send it. AI drafts it; you are responsible for it.
• Keep your thesis accurate. Founders act on the answers they receive.
• Treat submissions confidentially. Do not forward a founder's deck outside your own firm or investment process without their permission.
• Do not use DealDoor to send anything misleading, abusive or unlawful.

6. Founder responsibilities

If you submit a pitch:

• Submit accurate information about yourself and your company.
• Only upload material you have the right to share.
• One submission per company per investor. Do not use the service to spam.
• A reply through DealDoor is an individual investor's view. It is not investment advice, a valuation, an offer, or any commitment to invest. Nothing sent through DealDoor creates an investment relationship.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, bypass rate limits or security controls, access other users' data, or upload malware or anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

8. Availability

We aim to keep DealDoor available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give account holders reasonable notice and a way to export their data.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Irish law.

Subject to that, DealDoor is provided "as is". We are not liable for investment decisions made using the service, for the accuracy of any AI assessment, for the content of any reply an investor chooses to send, or for indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability to you in any 12 month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period or €100.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. On termination we delete your data in line with the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continuing to use DealDoor after that means you accept the change.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Irish law, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
